Targeting a Cure is committed to raising funds and awareness for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF). Since inception, The Michael J. Fox Foundation has dedicated its resources towards helping to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s today.

Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Each year, thousands of Team Fox members worldwide turn their passions and interests into unique fundraising events and athletic feats.

If you have already registered yourself for the event, log in to your Fundraising Dashboard. Click the create or join team button. 

If you have not registered, during registration the last question will be to create or join a team. Start typing and options will appear. 

A custom URL is a shortened link to your team or personal page that you can send to friends and family in emails. A custom URL will look like this https://topgolf.michaeljfox.org/ben.

100 percent of your donation goes straight to the high-impact research programs at The Michael J. Fox Foundation's. Your donation will be quickly and efficiently allocated to important grants and initiatives aimed at speeding a cure for Parkinson's disease.

Please make sure to use the following in the memo line:
[Team Name] / [Your First Initial. Your Last Name] / [Targeting a Cure [Event City]

Checks may take two to three weeks for processing.

Please make all checks payable to: The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
Please make sure that in the memo it says Topgolf and who the donations should be credited to.

When you make a donation online, you can designate what you want to appear as your recognition name on the participant's Honor Roll. This may be your name, or it could be something such as "From the whole Wolf family" or "in memory of Aunt Cathy."

$250 earns a $25 Top Golf gift card
$500 earns a $50 Top Golf gift card
$1,000 earns a $100 Top Golf gift card
* Top Golf gift cards can be used during the event (for extra food, beverages, or Topgolf merchandise) or at a future date.

If a donation check has been written out to you personally, you may endorse the back of the check and mail it in with a completed donation form to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.

It is not a good idea to send a cash donation in the mail. You may drop off the cash at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research along with your information or you can deposit the cash into your checking account and send a personal check from your account.

A Tax ID number identifies The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Many donors will request this number to validate their donation as tax-deductible. The The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research Tax ID number is 13-4141945.

Log in with your email and password to visit your Fundraising Dashboard. Select reports. You will then find a list of all your donors.

To send thank-you emails to donors, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your fundraiser dashboard by clicking “Login” in the top right corner of the Fox Trot website.

2. Click "Reports" on the top navigation bar.

3. Locate the donor/donation you'd like to thank and click "Send Email.” (If the donor didn't submit their email address, this option is unavailable.) Type the message in the pop-up window and click "Review Email.” When ready, click “Send Email.”
