I was lucky enough to grow up on a cul de sac that was the epitome of the "village" it takes to raise a child, and the Holden family is a part of so many of my first memories. Kathy Holden has been not only living with Parkinson's for over 10 years, but has been an absolute inspiration, working tirelessly since her diagnosis to fundraise for the Michael J Fox Foundation in the quest for a cure. 

Everyone can help end Parkinson’s disease. More than six million people worldwide live with Parkinson's today. It is the second most common neurological disorder. In the United States, approximately 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure.

Together, we can change this. Team Fox is the grassroots community fundraising program at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF). MJFF is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today.
